What you should know at the end of this lesson?

I can ask and respond to the question where is it? in Spanish ¿Dónde está ...?

I can give a classroom Command indicating the location. Example: busca el marcador encima de la mesa.

This lesson require at least three Spanish sessions. So, if you are a remote learning student, you will need to go over Commands and Classroom Objects lesson for the coming weeks to keep practicing vocabulary. It may seem to be a simple topic, but it needs a lot of practice to master this lesson. I know you already started with the prepositions, but the 5th graders will be learning for the first time this coming week. We will talk about what is a preposition and when do we use them.

What is a preposition of place?

Prepositions of place in Spanish are short words like “far” (lejos) and “debajo” (under) that are normally used to indicate the location of one object in relation to another. Other prepositions give information about time, manner, reason.

If you are a distance learner please practice with your flashcards you made in the previous lesson.

Then Quiz yourself. Work on memorize the prepositions.

Ask somebody to test your knowledge. Do the same with commands and classroom objects.

Check next week for updates: Grammar is coming soon.
